Staycation in the Heart of KL @ The KL Journal Hotel by Traveloka

Hello fab people!!! How has your Christmas & New Year Celebration going so far??? Mine is fantastic…The entire December were filled with staycation, parties, gathering and shopping!!! Today specifically, I want to share with you the amazing Staycation we had with whole Butterfly community at The KL Journal Hotel hosted by Traveloka.

For now let’s checkout the hotel we staying for the night! Upon arrival at the hotel, I was really surprised by it’s location that is so near to the KL Golden Triangle, Lot 10 is smack right across.  The aesthetic of the hotel is beyond word. The entrance alone already make a good impression and it’s a place where I will head when looking for a room to stay in the city. This hotel definitely on my Top 5 hotels list in the heart of KL at the same price range. My roommate Jerine even said this hotel is better than other big chain hotel.

THE ROOM

Let’s talk about the room, with Black and White theme the room look very modern and minimalist. Very instagramable and it’s definitely my kind of room!

The bed it self is really comfortable as good as the one I have in my room.

The room is quite spacious and filled with local touch.

I love the shower head… The water pressure so good and water is really hot. I was having first day of my period that night and that hot shower really comforting!!!

Toileteries is well packaged in a sleek box but the shampoo and shower gel is refilled in a bottle which I don’t quite like. Just my preference.

THE SURROUNDING

Like I said earlier the hotel interior is so beautiful filled with lots of plant which I really love. I can’t stop photographing the hotel.

 

This is one of the bar in the hotel, There’s ladies night every wednesday with free cocktail and band performance too. There’s also free cocktail for ladies on Saturaday.

 

Look at the dangling plant? I love to have this in my house!

There’s also a pool at the rooftop with bar too… The view from the top is amazing too!

A little side track, I love this white top that I got from F21. I love the sleeve so much that I purchase it without second thought.

BREAKFAST & DINNER

Since we were there for a weekend staycation we also get to try the lunch & dinner buffet. I enjoy our lunch where the pumpkin soup taste really good as good as the one I used to make at home. I am not sure if the buffet is a permanent one but it was really good. I love the roast lamb and beef.

For breakfast, I find it’s just alright, nothing to shout about.

 

There also serve the wrapped mee goreng mamak which is a good choice for those that are from abroad.

I do love the fruit juice option which is really refreshing. I hope there’s egg station and cold cut for breakfast.

All thanks to the Butterfly Project and our Mamasan Tammy we also get to join Travel journal workshop during our stay. Some other get to make leather passport, soap & bath bomb and draw painting.

 

We also had Christmas exchange during the dinner! My Unicorn roomate so cute!

All in all i love the Traveloka app because it has so many benefit. Our stay in Traveloka is awesome too!! We had so much fun exploring the hotel. Thank You Traveloka for hosting us and Butterfly project for this amazing Christmas Staycation.
