Zoreya Brush Set Review

These brushes really got me by surprise when I first received it weeks ago. I have never expect it to be so soft and dense. The vegan leather pouch that came along with the set was out of the world. So like I mentioned in my previous Tandle Love introduction post, I will be doing a detailed Zoreya Mermaid Brush Set review today.

All brushes are packed nicely with a protective plastic cover in the Vegan Leather Bag. So you can bring the brush with you when you travel around conveniently. I love this bag so much because the zip is so smooth. It’s one the best bag brush I own so far!

MERMAID FACE BRUSHES

Let’s talk about each brush in detail now. The face brush is my favorite among all, to be specific the powder brush

It the softest brush among all and very fluffy!! It holds powder very well, I can even use it to bake my under eyes. I love the feelings of this brush on my skin, very tender soft swipe….

The Angled Contour Brush is also very soft and great to use as contour or to apply blusher. I love to use it for applying blusher on my cheek. The right size for my cheek not too huge.

Ever since I got my beauty blender I seldom use any foundation brush. This foundation brush though applies foundation well to my skin. It doesn’t take up too many product and with patting motion it can erase the streak lines during application. 

DETAILED MERMAID EYE BRUSHES

This brush is great for all over lid application. I love using it to apply base colour on my eyelid. If you have larger eyelid, you can use it to apply even corner of your eyes. My asian eyes is too small for that ?

Blending brush is another favourite in this series. It blend really nice and sometime I love using it to pick up deeper shades and apply on the corner of my eyes and blend it afterward. Very pretty finishing! Using this for highlighter application  is also very pretty if you like specific highlighting point with blended effect.

If you use powder for your brow application this Angle Brow Brush is perfect. It’s the prefect size to create the feathery stroke just like your brow’s hair. You can also use it to apply light and nature lines on your eye lid.

This Angled Shading Brush is super dense and can really pack a lot of product. I use this to contour my nose instead as it’s a little big for my eye lid but if you have wide lid are do use this to apply any transsition shade. It’s awesome.

The last brush in this series is the concealer brush. It’s a very detailed concealer brush. So you can use this to fix and problem on your skin without messing the rest of your face or risk applying too much concealer. This is perfect for sharpening eyebrows area or to clean up any eye shadow drop outs. Also great to use to clean lines mess up like eyeliner.

In overall, I would say all these brushes are really good quality and very affordable. For $35.00 , each brush cost less than $5. The brushes exceeds my expectation in all aspect really, I especially love the soft bristles and the handle grip is really nice. I would say this is even better than Real Technique Brush in terms of the brush handle and brush hair too. Also better than my Zoeva brush handle (my Zoeva’s ones cracked ?).

It’s really a great brush especially for beginner who doesn’t wants to spend too much investing in brush set. Also great as a spare brush when travelling.

Though I wish some eye brush can be smaller in size to cater for Asian eyes and I think I won’t need the foundation brush if I were to purchase the set! Other than that it’s really a good brush set!!
