Bangkok 6D5N, Day 2 Palio Khao Yai
Continuing my journey in Khorat, we move on to next location after admiring the beauty of Sorapong Temple…. The next village that I visited amazed me with it’s beautiful surrounding and colourful architecture!! If you don’t have budget to fly to Italy, fret not as Thailand has Palio in Khao Yai. Palio located in Nakhon, Ratchasima Province in Thailand or better known as Khorat, it’s about 259KM away from Bangkok. Palio village is a shopping street inspired by Tuscany Village elements. There are about 140 colourful stores with awning in bright and colourful pattern that will be perfect for pictures, just pose and smile!
That night we were staying at Balios Resort, we went to check-in our luggage and walk-over to Palio (Just few steps away). As I walk through the path way it gave me a feeling like I am in Italy… The walkway itself is picture worthy.
The stores here offer some unique fashion pieces that you might not find in the shopping mall or market in Bangkok. You will also find some lovely souvenir as well as house decorative items which worth to have a look and if you need them purchase it!
After shopping for whole day you can choose to order a cuppa coffee and pick a table to have some rest while you enjoy the colourful surrounding or you can also order gelato if you want something cooling on a hot afternoon.
More cafe..
and below are some of the picture I took in Palio Village…. There is plenty of bench around Palio so if you feel you needed a rest go head and grab a seat and be entertained with tourist passing by, flowy fountain in the centre, plants draping on the building walls, red brick building, ornate railing and hanging basket of plant and flowers…
There is also a small little garden at another corner!
