Beauty Review: Yadah Pore Refining Range

Hello beauty, how was your spring going so far??? Sadly my country is summer all year long….oolala…. Today I am reviewing this set of minty bottles of pore refining range from Yadah and it’s perfect for this summer because it is in gel form and it gives soothing effect to the skin.

There is 3 type of product in this range namely foam cleanser, toner and emulsion. So as usual I will describe how I feel about each product individually and show you the result after using it for about two week at the end of the post.

Of all the three product I love this the most. It clean my face thoroughly and it’s easy to lather into foam. The Albumen Extract from Egg whites will help to control excess sebum and remove deep-down dirt results in a clean and fresh face. Mineral water further deep cleanse the dirt inside the pores. The soft and mild foam gently removes sebum without giving any feeling of dryness. Nelumbo Nucifera Flower water soothes the sensitive skin and astringes pores, thus smoothing the skin.

You only need a small amount (approx. quarter of 10cent size) to apply to whole face. My face is squeaky clean after using this cleanser. My skin does not feel too tight which I think is good because when cleanser make my skin feel too tight and dry it feel painful to me. It did a pretty good job in removing away all excess sebum and dirt on my skin.

It contain the some the ingredient used in foam cleanser like mineral water & Nelumbo Nucifera Flower water which does the same job. In addition it contains Diospyros Kaki Leaf Extract and Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract which gently exfoliate corneous for more radiant and smooth skin. Also contains Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water that tightens your pores and soothes your skin from external stimulus.

One pump of this toner is more than enough to cover the entire face. The texture is very smooth but not too thick and it’s colour less that is why you can’t see it in the above picture. It hydrate my face when I apply this toner on my skin and I am glad it does not contain alcohol in it.

Basically it contain the similar star ingredient with the toner. So both toner & emulsion should give the similar result only difference is emulsion gives additional hydrating properties I think.

When I saw the texture in gel alike form I was so happy because I love everything in gel form… However, the effect was not what I am hoping for. It’s rather sticky for a gel texture before it sink into my skin. After it has fully absorbed by my skin the sticky feeling is gone. Same with the toner one pump is sufficient and it need some time to sink in….

Loving the natural ingredient they used in all their product. All three product has similar scent and being a natural product they do not produce the strong herb scent. Even though the scent doesn’t smell like those product with fragrance ingredient it smell pretty decent to me. I got to say I hate the similar packaging of the toner and emulsion because I kept mixing up both and I end up pumping the emulsion on my hand first before toner. Honestly, I do like the packaging because of the minty colour with cute Yadah logo. Also the fact the bottle are made from plastic but they made it look like glass it portray a expensive outlook if you get what I mean and yes it’s travel friendly no worry on overweight or broken bottles.

The texture was pretty fine for me and I have no problem using it whole day even when I stay outdoor whole day. I use toner and emulsion during the day and foam cleanser both day & night. At first I don’t really feel the pore refining effect with my naked eye but when I compare the zoom in picture of my before and after effect I was surprised that some of the pores are really refined. Even though not huge difference on reducing the pore size but I think over time it might work better and give more results. The cleanser really leave my skin feeling very clean but for removing black head I think visiting the facial therapist is more effective.

p/s: ignore my pimples because I am very stress at work and having insomnia lately!
