Let’s continue from where I have stop. Later that day we went to something more exciting to visit. The Water Blow, Nusa Dua.
DPP Bali (490)_thumb[1]
We walk through the wide grass field like another small garden. The huge statue is still in the making process.
DPP Bali (491)
The garden by itself it a vey serene place to walkthrough. Visit my previous post on this garden.
Here we arrived at the entrance of Water Blow.
DPP Bali (495)
Water Blow is place where the rock stands firmly on the beach of Nusa Dua. The rocks erosion turns into beautiful shape caused by constant swept by the strong waves. It’s mind blowing wave formation is really amazing. However be careful because at times the waves maybe bigger and stronger than you expect.
DPP Bali (499)
The view down the rocks where the waves keep covering it is freaking amazing. At a point it’s so stress released but at certain time it feels scary when the fierce wave splash on the rocks and blast high above!!

However, I suggest to visit this place in early morning or late evening to avoid the bright sun shinning which could be burning hot.

  • Location: Near Hotel Grand Hyatt. Then you walk pass wide grass field, then follow the path to a gate that written “Water Blow”

It almost 3pm and we decided to head over to Uluwatu Temple and slowly walk around to wait for sunset. Uluwatu Temple is known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of top attractions in Bali. A must visit temple if you were in Bali.

“Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of Bali’s kayangan jagat (directional temples) and guards Bali from evil spirits from the SW, in which dwell major deities, in Uluwatu’s case; Bhatara Rudra, God of the elements and of cosmic force majeures”
sources from Indonesia Tourism

Uluwatu is well known with wild monkeys hanging around hunting for your belongings.

Fierce Monkey!image

5 things to bare in mind when you visit Uluwatu Temple.

  • Do not wear your sunglasses on top of your head. Yes it may look cool but the Wild Monkey will take it away before even you manage to flaunt your sunglasses.
  • Carry all your belongings with you all the time. Do not leave it unattended.
  • Wear covered shoes else the monkey will take it away from you.
  • Do not feed the monkey. The monkey will chase you for more food.
  • Do play with the monkey or attack them. They can be very strong especially when they come in group

We arrive at the entrance and we need to pay RP 20,000 for entrance fee. For those who wearing shorts or skirt, you will given a sarong to wrap around as a respect to the Holy Temple.

For those who wore long pants you will be given a yellow string to tied on your waist.

Well that day wasn’t my lucky day. I wore a sandal and the monkey tried to take it away from me and while I tried to take it back, a small pieces were torn away.
DPP Bali (527)
We have around 3 hour time which is too much. I think 2 hour is more than enough to explore the entire surrounding.
We walk along the edge where tourist can be seen snapping pictures everywhere!

We continue to walk all the way up till we reach the peak.

There is a huge empty space at the peak with surrounding cliff view facing the sea.

Empty space to hang around…Reading a book here is a great idea!DPP Bali (567)

Not so much tourist will come all the way up. The view across the wide ocean is very soothing.

So this will be a good spot for Sunset and it’s very windy here. It feels good by just sitting on the grass while waiting for the sun to set.

So tired after walking the whole day. Time to reward ourself with big seafood meal! This time we are heading to Lia Cafe at Jimbaran. Heard this is one of the seafood restaurant in Jimbaran that will charge at standard price unlike others that charge tourist sky high prices.

You can select the seafood from from the display. Ala-carte and seafood packages also available. We decided to go for package, it seems more worthy!
DPP Bali (620)
We select 2 X Package B. The package comes with soft drink, salad, soup, white rice, fried vegetable and fruits.

All this seafood is for us!!YUM YUM…DPP Bali (619)
Salad that is soaked with vinegar, very crisp and tangy!DPP Bali (624)
Stir Fried Kangkong, A little spicy but its cold…We prefer our food served hot!
DPP Bali (626)

Well, couldn’t bother much on the Kangkong as the main dish is the Seafoods!!! Basically they will barbeque the seafood and then top on some red sauce (Sweet and sour with a hint of spiciness)
Every thing is too good to the extend I do not how to put it in words. From the fish to the clams, crabs and prawn all are very fresh and juicy!! The potatoes is delicious too…

This is one package so we have two of these…DPP Bali (625)
Can you see the super huge clam? Its filling is huge too..image

What makes the dinner in Jimbaran so memorable is because you get to dine beside the soaring waves. All tables is setup on the sand area.
