You’ll Boast After Seeing These Coasts
If you’re a fan of the ocean and the beautiful beaches which lie between it and the mainland then maybe you should step out of your comfort zone when you next go traveling. Rather than simply choosing the same old tourist resort, perhaps you should go in search of some of the most beautiful coasts in the world. Here are just a few ideas that will certainly give you a trip to boast about to your friends.
San Diego, California.
California is a state famed for sunshine and glorious beaches. Where do you even begin in such a mammoth state? The coast stretches along the entirety of the western side of the state, and there are many cities or small towns which allow you to bask in the beauty of the natural costs. However, it’s San Diego which has the perfect blend of exciting city life and stunning beaches from which you can admire the endless Pacific Ocean. You can venture out onto some of the beautiful cliffs to admire the ocean or get a little closer to the coastline by strolling down the beaches, enjoying wading pools in which you can observe natural sealife, and going surfing.
The Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Australia feels like one never-ending beach in films and TV shows. In reality… Well, that’s not too far off the mark. Most of this country’s major cities and towns lie on the coast because it’s just so beautiful. You might want to look into caramaran hire so as to sail along the famous Sunshine Coast in style because this is certainly one of the most popular coastlines and there’s good reason for that.
Norfolk, Britain.
Not all coasts are the same. You shouldn’t just jet off to Ibiza every year with the mentality that “once you’ve seen one beach, you’ve seen them all.” There are many beautiful coasts across the world and, depending on the country and the climate in which they’re situated, you’ll see very different things in terms of both nature and manmade additions. Britain is a clear example of it, as its often-windy coasts may not be quite as warm as those in the southern hemisphere but they’re by no means less beautiful.
The North Norfolk coastal path takes you along a winding path which shows off both the beauty of quaint towns such as Blakeney (you should definitely go crab-catching whilst you’re there) and the coast which lies right beside it. This is a coast for those who are more bothered about seeing something beautiful than experiencing warm weather, of course. Whilst you’re in the UK, as it’s not too time-consuming to travel from place to place, you could head over to Wales to enjoy some of its coastlines, such as the Gower Peninsula.
Manarola, Italy
Italy is a country which is famed for its stunning coastal towns and cities. They really know how to enjoy the coast in style there. Manarola, in particular, is a beautiful city. Its colorful buildings are a sight to behold; they accentuate the natural coastline rather than being a distracting eyesore like some coastal cities or towns. This is definitely a city which defines the word “picturesque”. You should visit the Church of San Lorenzo whilst you’re there but it’s the views that are really worth something.
