Italianies New Menu

Hello people, today I want to share you something new and exciting from Italianies. It’s really refreshing to have some new flavour and ingredient combination on my pasta and pizzas and it’s not 10 or 20. Italianies is introducing over 30+ new menu this time. Are you excited as I am?? With more varieties you will never get bored over your meal.

You can choose from a fine selection of hearty Pizzas – Italian Butcher to a classics such as Pepperoni Pizza. The menu does not only feature Italians but also pizza from Morroco to Oriental. They add a total 7 new pasta options in the menu that will sure make your dinner feels refreshed! Their specialty, Truffle & Mushroom Alfredo (oh truffle oil!) – spaghetti with a selection of mushroom and truffle oil tossed in parmesan cream sauce. Not a fan of exotic flavours? What about something Spicy? The Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio a different twist to the traditional Aglio Olio that includes fresh King prawn, mussels, clams, calamari and sauteed with garlic fresh herbs, pepperoncini and olive oil.

We managed to try a few new menus too!! Were so happy with the new flavors. A few highlights from what we like from our dinner the other day.

Trying Nicoise Salad for the very first time. Do you know Nicoise Salad (French pronunciation: [niˈswaz])  isoriginated from France, a beautiful city call Nice. It is traditionally made of tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, Niçoise olives, anchovies, and dressed with olive oil but in Italianies they used Sesame Dressing which is a nice twist we loved!

Any fries lover here? I only tried fat fries once back in Sydney and when I saw this on the menu I was overly in joy! These Spiced Fat Chips with Sweet Aioli (how they called it in Italianies) is perfectly spiced with crunchy outer and soft and mushy in the core. Dip them into the house-made garli aioli ohhhhhhh….soooo goood.

Spicy Moroccan Lamb Pizza has a rather unique combination of pomodoro sauce, chili flakes, mozarella chese, monterey jack cheese, caramelized onion, spicy lamb sausage, roasted cherry tomato, baby spinach, greek yoghurt, chickpeas, dried cranberries and grated cheese. Honestly it’s no very spicy just a nice kick of chili. I though the sweetness of the caramelized onion and cranberries really balance the pizza flavour well with all the cheesey flavour and spices.

If carbonara is boring to you then this Shrimp & Aspargus Alfredo will be a nice change. The sauce is lighter than cabonara and the crisp Asparagus and springy prawn is really delicious. We can’t have enough of this pasta and the parmesan cream sauce is so good we scoop every last bit of it. We also like that the spinach is deep fried instead of wilted into the cream sauce.

Aside from the above, here are some other we tried.

Toasted Bruschetta with a special cranberry pesto sauce on the side.

Classic Caesar Salad using fresh romaine lettuce topped with crispy bacon, hard-boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, toasted focaccia croutons and grated parmesan over Caesar dressing.

The Tropicale Suprema with creamy honey mustard sauce as a base. Toppings? You got monterey jack cheese, smokey turkey ham, pineapple bits, malibu sauce, fresh arugala and grated parmesan cheese.

Another pasta with the same cream sauce like the Alfredo, the Salmon & Spinach Fettucine. This comes with Salmon Fillet sauteed with dried tomatoes and fresh spinach.
