Bali Island 6D/5N Day 4 Part 2/2: Adventure to the Spectacular View & Hunt of the Best Pork Rib!

We had enough exploring water attraction, let’s move on to some adventure driving up to Mount Batur at Kintamani District. Those who came for a relax trip will then view the calm scenery of the Mount Batur by far but for those adventurous ones would climb up to the peak of Mount Batur for sunrise. As much I love sunrise and trekking but not this time. I would love to see the active volcano of Mount Batur surrounded by another stunning crater lake, Lake Batur.

DPP810Obviously luck is on our side!! Breathtaking breezy view of Lake Batur with Mount Batur behind it!

The Lake Batur is one of the biggest lake in Bali and it’s definitely a place you shall not missed if you visiting Bali!

DPP807Stunning view of the Mount Batur Peak!

Again this very depend to your luck, if you come during raining season then you may only see clouds and tip of the mountain. For best view, come as early as possible in the morning around 8 – 9 am.

The view is also a great background for tourist who want to have a breezy lunch! It’s like Cameron Highland to me but without the Tea Plantation.
There is plenty of restaurant along the rail where you can enjoy your lunch with the spectacular view of the mountain and lake.

DPP809Our Lunch Place!
We decided to have our lunch at Rumah Makan Mutiara because we were attracted by the Special Ikan Bakar.
When we look at the menu, the grilled fish was a little bit too pricey and the buffet look promising.

The Leek & Asparagus taste good but it become cold very fast! The rest are mainly for filling up our tummy!
Well is not the food that we are interested in but the stunning view that came along with the food.

The view in the day really satisfied our eyes but the food failed to impress our tummy. So we decided to go for something that will ensure our tummy is happy for the rest of the day!
From Kintamani, our driver drive us to Naughty Nuri’s Warung where their Pork Rib which is well known to be Smokinglicious!

DPP Bali (655)Naughty Nuri’s Pork Rib

The flesh is so juicy and marinated to perfection! It was grilled to a slight burnt level where it gives smoky aroma and crispy bites on the edge of the rib!!

The sticky BBQ sauce coating the ribs was really tasty. We were all eating using our fingers and licking the BBQ gravy over our finger as well as the rib’s bone. It’s Finger Licking Good!!
For us, our tummy don’t just feel satisfy with only the Pork Ribs we need more! So Pork Satay will be another good choice!

There are using the similar sauce for the pork ribs. This taste equally good but with mouth full of pork flesh! Each bite is satisfying!! My tummy is finally smiling!!

Like I mention, Day 4 will be a relaxing day so we end the day with a Spa & Body Massage! We have the massage at Arum Spa, Jl By Pass Sunset Road. The massage is good but the ambient was really bad. I can see rat running around the massage room! Seriously avoid visiting this Massage Parlour!!!

This is the only part I enjoyed (soaking my leg), after that it’s all disgusting! Thank god the rat did not run over my body else I will not pay a cent!
I must not let this ruin our night so me and Thomas decided to walk across our hotel in Sanur to this Chinese Noodle Shop, Mie 88.
Out of expectation the Noodle I ordered taste really good! It’s a mixture of Indonesian + Chinese style.

Portion is good, noodle is springy and the flavour is perfect. This end my night really well!
