All New Flame-Grilled Chicken, Galito’s is in town

Grilled chicken lovers can now have more choice at an affordable price from as low as RM 15.90 for grilled chicken set meal. Galito’s operates 150 restaurant in 15 different countries. Malaysia is the first country in South East Asia that serve lip-smacking juicy flaming hot chicken hailed from South Africa. Galito’s was founded by Louis Germishuys who cares deeply about sharing South Africa’s best flavours with the rest of the world, one flame-grilled chicken at a time.

 

Galito’s chicken is flamed grilled and brush basted to achieve perfect flavour and tenderness. All of the chicken cook fresh not frozen before and it’s marinated for 24 hours using a secret blend of herbs and spices to ensure flavourful juicy meat.

Galito’s menu not only feature the special Grilled Chicken but also other unique African dish like Galibowl, Liver & Roll. Chilli Beans and Sweet Potato Chips.

The restaurant has a very bright lighting with black and white as the main colour theme. The restaurant is quite spacious and feel very cozy too.

 

During the launching, I was lucky to try some of the Signature dishes. All mains can be order ala-carte or with your preferred side dishes with just few ringgit extra.

We first starts with Liver & Port Roll, RM 9.90. I did not try this as I don’t take organs but my friend said it was decent and pretty good for liver. I did try the roll though and I like it even with just butter, I believe with the liver it would be perfect.

Next up is the GaliBowl, RM 15.90. This is really something unique. Using opporto rice with cube flavourful chicken and spinach top with sishebo sauce is really interesting. I always love spinach and this taste pretty good.

 

We then tried the Burger, RM 13.90 (ala carte) with flame grilled chicken breast with mayo dip.  I love that the toasted bun is soft however the chicken breast is too thin and dry in my opinion.

 

Our burgers comes with Sweet Potato Chips, RM 5.00 and it’s so so crispy and sweet. I love it a lot and wouldn’t mind another serving.

 

They have a plenty of sauce that you can dip into. There’s Lemon & Herb, Garlic, Mild, Hot & Extra Hot Peri-Peri Sauce.I love Hot & Mild a lot. In fact, their sauce are more mild compare to those in Nando but it’s just right for me as Im not a spicy fan. If you are like me you will like Galito’s Peri Peri Sauce.

 

 

Here comes the star of the day the Grilled Chicken 1/4 for Rm 12.50 (Ala-carte). The chicken come flaming hot and really flavourful. It did not disappoint me at all. The meat is juicy and tender.. The skin mmmmmm so crisy and delicious. I will return for the chicken for sure.

Ours come with their famous Spinach, Rm 5.00 (Regular) | RM 7.50 (Large) & Chili Bean, Rm 5.00 (Regular) | RM 7.50 (Large). The Chili Bean is quite unique for me. You gotto try it.
