Oriental Steamboat @ Jalan Segambut Review
It’s been a rainy week and with the long weekend last week we travel a little bit further to check out this new Oriental Steamboat near Jalan Segambut. We are very happy with it and went home with a warm and happy tummy!
This steamboat operates on a space located by the main road under beautiful fairy lights. Very noticeable and easily attracts passerby. This is an Ala-Carte steamboat with the traditional set that’s come with clear broth. One obvious difference is all ingredient serve here are top quality! I can vouch for that. It’s been a while since we had such a delicious ingredient.
I must say the portion for even 1 pax set look huge. For those big eaters, I am sure it will not disappoint.
The prawn are really huge in the set unlike others that I went will only sever small to medium prawn. Scallops are looking goood too.
If you want you can also opt for other soup for your steamboat like Spicy soup, Tomato Soup, Pork Bone Soup & Tomyam Soup.
Pork Bone & Spicy Soup
My favourite is the Tomyam Soup is really intense and we love it. Those who want lighter soup can go for Pork Bone ones. Our for more adventurous flavour go for Spicy Soup, the Ma Lat!!! Confirm shiok! I want to try the tomato soup next.
There’s a vast selection of ingredient available from meat, seafood, various balls, vegetable and many more. We particularly love the Abalone slice, Seabass slice, Prawns, Lamb Slice, Sea Urchin Flavoured Ball, Fish Dumpling, White Fish Ball, Fishball with Cheese, Bean Curd Roll & Bentong Toufu Pok. These are all must order if you have to choose. If not order everything. They are all very good.
