Plane in the City KL Review & Launch

Another exciting dining experience Plane in the City KL has launched in the heart of KL. I’m sure you saw the fun I have in my instastories few days ago! Have you tried the Dining in the Sky before? There are from the same company.

This is the type of dining venue for those special occasions and celebration. Wedding proposal will be another level if you done it in the plane or best on the wing, rest assured it will surprised your lover! Plane In The City is also listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the 1st Aeroplane Restaurant in Malaysia. The certificate was being given before the launch by Ms. Gillian Ooi, Director of Malaysia Book of Records to Mr. Arvin Randahwa, CEO TwoSpicy Entertainment Live Sdn. Bhd.

The airplane has become the icon of the famous path heading to Pavillion where you will be seeing Prince Medical Court across it!! Parking is quite convenient too, just at the back for RM 10 per entry. As you walk into the check-in session, you will notice the runway. I think it’s a really cool spot for OOTD!

Upon check-in you will greeted with pretty air stewardess just like boarding plane. Only difference is I feel like boarding on business class for a first time with super huge leg space.

The entire experience is about 90 minutes where you get to experience  revolving around an actual Boeing 737 aircraft, taking a cool ‘selfie’ while sticking your heads out of the Pilot’s cockpit, walking on the wings of the aircraft and enjoy a fine dining meal serenaded by today’s hit music.

Sitting  only  20  people  per  session  to  maintain  exclusivity,  food  aboard  the  aircraft  will  be  served  in  3  or  4  courses  (depending  on  package chosen)  by  Le  Meridien  Kuala  Lumpur,  a  well-known  five-star hotel,  appointed based on  their  exciting  menu  and  great-tasting  cuisine.  “Food,  in  our  tradition,  is  something  sacred,  it’s  not  about  the  nutrients  or  calories. It’s  about  sharing,  honesty  and  identity.  Hence  the  philosophy  of  cooking  has  to  be  an  intimate  experience  thus  the  idea  behind  the  menu  for  dining  in  the  plane  is  all  about  -creating  an  honest  and  intimate  experience  for  the  diners  through  the  food”  said  Chef  Antoine  Rodriquez,  Executive  Chef  of  Le’Meridien  Kuala  Lumpur.
