New Beauty Store PLAY UP Advance offers up to 26 New Cosmetic Brand in KL @ Farenheit 88

I can’t remember when is the last time I feel excited over cosmetic. I have too much at home, the fact that I only have one Face and not to mention nothing in the market really excites me. The eyeshadow palette from every other brand look almost the same with the one I have and those lipstick looks like I already have all the colour I need. I went out with my girlfriend the other day and we were talking how we were so excited about all these cosmetic back then… I guess now we are caught with work and we simply don’t have the luxury to play with makeup anymore and so many other commitment to attend to. Surprisingly, last weekend me and Jerine discovered this new Beauty Store PLAY UP Advance in Farenheit 88. Play Up were another store setup by the renown Parkson brand. I think Parkson did a good job as the whole experience shopping here is so different and fun. They house a lot of brands that are new to me mostly from Thailand, Korea, Japan and Locally too (Malaysia my country). They are pretty like Sephora but house more brands than Sephora and mostly has a lower price tag than those in Sephora and more more suitable for Asian skin.  Today I will be sharing some of the new brand I discovered in PLAY UP and the star product you should lookout for! So Ladies get ready your cash or better yet credit card!!!

Before that let me show you around the store.

 

Alao with a Black as base colour kind of resemble Sephora but more colourful and fun setup!

 

They have a lot of new cosmetic brands to offer but for Skincare, Hair & Body most brands are pretty common like those you see in Watson or Guardian.

Perfume selection is quite huge, more selection than Sephora.

All right now are you ready for the exciting brands that has just LANDED?

1. VT Cosmetic, Korea

This brand coming from Korea and has BTS as their ambassador so I’m sure every girl will definitely fall for it! VT’s signature line includes make up products (cushion, base and blusher) that are not only portable but also fashionable & trendy. Well mostly are in compact cases like how cushion cases are but I must say I love the sleek and pastel colour packaging.

 

Look how beautiful this Collagen Pact is. This 3 in 1 pact will makes your skin appear healthy and lift up which contains real collagen.

2. Vely Vely, Korea

Vely Vely also hail from Korea that not only sell cosmetic & skincare but also fashion apparel. They have quite complete range of cosmetic. The price is on the highside from RM 30-130. Quite minimal packaging, nothing really excites me on this brand.

3. Pop Me, Thailand

Ok at first look it feels like some drugstore brand from US but this is from Thailand. Pretty standard packaging and look quite similar like those drugstore brand. The price is really affordable from as low as RM23. This will be a good option for those who just started make up!

 

4. 88, Korea

Ok I have seen this brand all over in facebook. They invest a lot in the video marketing. I remembered their star product is the Liquid Foundation using their unique shape paint brush which said to follow the curve of our face for even application. I am not sure the price range yet as they has not display it yet.

 

 

5. Lalafox, Korea

I love the name, it’s super catchy!!! I didn’t have enough time to play with the product but the price is good from RM 43 to RM 69. Lalafox offers cruelty free products made from natural ingredients to pamper and prolong your natural glow.

6. 16 Brand, Korea

I have so much fun playing with this brand. The cute packaging and unique product sure catch my attention. Looking into their website, this cosmetic brand apparently is created by Chosungah. Price from RM 39 to Rm 93.

 

Look at the Lipstick, it’s a crayon in lipstick packaging and the pastel pink and yellow look really pretty. The pink one is matt finish and the yellow one are glossy finish!! Arghhh I’m tempted to buy!

Gurrom Cream is like a colour collection pot. It’s a cute packaging but not so convenient and quite messy I feel!

Wow browsing their web and I found this cute lipstick! OMGGGG! I don’t think this is available yet. So pretty!!

I feel like buying all the lip product really!

7. 11 Village Factory, Korea

Alright enough of 16 Brand let’s move to another brand. The name is rather weird and too long for me. 11 Village Factory Cosmetic comes straight from the crazy laboratory. This brand has body product like essential oil, basic cosmetic like cushion, cheek and lip product and also some skincare. Their bath oil caught my attention but I can’t really smell the scent….. Kinda cute comic packaging. Price is quite affordable from as low as RM 13 for mask and RM 93 for cushion.

 

8. Agatha, Paris

I love the blue theme feels like sailor theme to me. Agatha paris feel more high end than the rest of the brand and hence why the price is higher too. Price starts from RM 63 to RM 193. Their foundation does feel smooth on my skin but it’s rather expensive.

 

9. Estro, Thailand

Apparently this brand is rather small with only facebook, no website. I can’t find much info on this brand but their Liquid Lipstick is really pigmented. Price are quite mid range for Rm63 you get to buy a liquid lipstick and palette go for RM 213 (quite steep).

 

The bottom 3 are the swatches while the top is from 16 Brand lipstick. I love the chocolate colour eh not sure if it will look good on me though!

10. J.Muh, Korea

Not much info on this brand, they are mostly sold in those reseller website. Item are prety basic nothing to shout about. Price tag is not on yet so I can’t tell you the price.

 

11. PAPONK, Thailand

I was attracted by the green plaid print of the Lipstick. It’s really pretty and the colour is quite pigmented too. Unlike other makeup brands, PAPONK seeks to focus on developing individual self-confidence by encouraging one’s self to enjoy life, seek fun and happiness and appreciate the beauty value of their own complexion. Price is quite affordable too from RM 46 onwards.

 

11. LB, Korea

Ok I remember seeing this brand somewhere online. Another affordable brand and seem like their eyeline is something worth looking into. Price from RM 44.90 to RM 50.90. The Liquid Foundation is only RM 50.90 quite a good price eh?

 

12. DUP, Japan

DUP seem to focus on eyelash, mascara and eyebrow product. I check online and seem like their eyelash glues is hot product. I shall try this one day. This brand may not be very new as I saw it in Hermo but I did not see it on store before.

 

13. Fascy, Korea

Fascy has a very colourful display. The packaging give me a feeling of Betty Boop!! It will surely appeal to young girls. The packaging quality were not very sturdy, the plastic quite thin. I tried the lipstick, the colour is rather sheer….  However I like the eyebrow pencil! I might try that once I finish my Shu Uemera.

 

14. Mille, Korea

This is another brand with beautiful packaging. Mille has the angelic and sweet packaging that any girl will love…  Price from RM 33 – RM 93. They have quite a lot of option on cosmetic. A few different texture and range too. I love the Flat Lip, very precise application and creamy finish.

 

15. SriChand, Thailand

This is like a scented based brand. You know the traditional Thailand scent? Their powder packaging is really nice but I’m not a fan of the scent.

16. Locean Thailand

Locean price is on the high side from RM 39 to RM 213. I did not try their product yet but the price tag doesn’t justify based on the packaging for sure.

17. Hope Girl, Korea

From the website, Hope Girl not only sell cosmetic but also skincare. The cosmetic seem like has leopard print as theme. Did not manage to try on but it does seem attractive.

Now there’s a section where all home grown brand located. I must say most home grown brand sell Liquid Lipstick and the texture and opacity feels almost similar. Price wise were quite close too. One of my friend told me cosmetic made in Malaysia may not have to go through certain certification like those brand coming from other countries. So, buy with caution.

17. Velvet Vanity, Malaysia 

Velvet Vanity has this turqoise blue packaging which is really attractive.

18. MYJ, London

Okay this just happen to be beside local brand Nita. I remember seeing it in Watson, not quite sure though. Still quite a new brand to me, never try them yet.

19. Nita, Malaysia

Nita has a wider cosmetic range compare to other local brand. They also have eyeshadow palette but sadly doesn’t appeal to me though. However, I do like all the catchy name they use on their product.

 

20. Breena, Malaysia

Breena may not be new to some of you but I guess still quite new to some reader. This brand is build by Sabrina a fellow blogger. Their best seller is their brushes and also Beauty Pearl. I am really tempted to try their blending pearl one day. Their price also very affordable from RM 39 onwards.

21. Chique, Malaysia

Their packaging remind me of Balm cosmetic. They has quite a wide cosmetic choice too…Concealer, Eyeshadow Palette, Lipstick and etc.

22. Orchid, Malaysia

Another brand selling Liquid Matte Lipstick. We are definitely spoilt with choices.

23. Fame, Malaysia

Saw quite a few blogger blog about this brand, but I did not know they have such wide range. Also have BB cushion. Impressive eh?

 

23. XCUTEME, Thailand

Another brand that focus alot on eye product.

 

24. Gracy Grace, Malaysia

Not too sure if thisis really a local brand. However I must say I was impressed with the Liquid Lip Color. It’s really BOMB!!!

 

Look at the swatch!!! The picture here can’t see the shine, you should go swatch it yourself!

 

25. Flormar, Italy

I used this brand before and they are widely available in Italy. I was rushing when I reach this section so didn’t have time to really check it out! I can see their foundation has quite a wide range and their counter is quite huge compare to other!

26. Rad, Thailand

We come to the last brand Rad. I was blown away by the highlighter palette!! I saw online picture their Matte Metallic Lip is really stunning kind of remind me of Kylie Cosmetic ones.
