Pangkor & Ipoh Trip 2015: Anjungan Beach Resort Review

Hello lovelies… Remember my recent trip to Pangkor & Ipoh?? Let me share with you our experience staying at this Anjungan Beach Resort. I didn’t have much expectation on this resort as the picture on Agoda was just normal. We proceed to book this as the other cheaper option hotel or resort is not looking good and the one that look more beautiful are all way too expensive. Also, many hotel & resort are fully book so we only left with this. Basically we do not have any plan, we just crash in the hotel and relax by the beach. Oh yes we did took our Beach Prewedding Picture which I will share in next post okay? All we want is just a relaxing beach holiday…

Resort Name: Anjungan Beach Resort Pangkor
Address: No.6610, Teluk Nipah, Pangkor Island, Pangkor, Malaysia 32300
Tel: +605 – 685 1500
Nearby Attraction: Pangkor Beach
** Wifi only at reception area.

Back to the hotel, when we reach the hotel we were impressed by the pool area. We can feel a great retreat holiday here…

Really love the surrounding of the resort. The only sad part is that, WIFI only available in lobby area. How sad was that? Okay maybe we supposed to leave our phone and just enjoy our stay in the resort. We took our key and walk up 2 level (It’s freaking tall), got exhausted taking the stairs… There is no lift provided so if you want the high view be prepared to walk up the stairs. So when we reach the room, me and Thomas was quite happy as we expecting single bed with a table lamb in the middle as when we book twin bed is fully booked.

The room pretty decent mostly old furniture at least 10years I guess… The bed was actually two single bed combined but using a twin bed sheet so it’s not too bad. At least we didn’t feel the gap in between the single bed. Honestly the mattress is a little hard and not so thick. So if you ask me if this is a good mattress I would say not bad but definitely not good either. We don’t quite like the tiles in the room… These tiles are really rough and very dusty in my opinion. Carpet or wood flooring will be much better. Our room has a nice corner view to the swimming pool from the general balcony area.

Water and 3in1 coffee is provided in case you needed some drink.

Simple dressing table. I have trouble doing my makeup here because the table is too wide. I pull out the table so I can stand near the mirror!

The bathroom was really simple with those old type water heater. No central heating.

The hotel is just 5minutes away from the beach! We reach there in the afternoon and walk to the beach area for a lunch…..

The breakfast at the hotel was good but no buffet. It’s by order, however there is bread, cereals and fruit with unlimited refill for your breakfast.

Overall, I don’t have much complain except  there is no wifi and the flooring. If only they could change the flooring it will makes a huge difference. Well I guess that’s all from me, just a quick review on this hotel. Have you visited Pangkor before? Which hotel or resort did you stay in? Share with me in the comment below kay?
