Bali Island 6D/5N Day 3 Part 2/2: Eat, Drink, Sleep & Shop!!
December 29, 2012
It’s Christmas and New Year, that only means one word, HOLIDAY for everyone! That’s the time where I finally have time to edit some of my Bali Sunset Photos. After the Sunset view at Tanah Lot we went back to our hotel in Seminyak. That night will be our second night in Fave Hotel which is also our last night in seminyak! I always want to stay in a hotel nearby Night Club, Bar and Pub; WHY? so I can head to bed right away after all the drinking and dancing! It get better when BREAKFAST is ready for you the moment you are awake the next morning !!! We got the room in Fave Hotel, Seminyak at approx RM 110 after 50% flash deal from Agoda!

So after leaving our stuff in the room, we decided to have our dinner at a restaurant along the shop rows just infront of the hotel named Santa Fe’s Steak and Grill. The restaurant has minimal lighting where the main source of lighting came from the candle on every table and the lighting at the bar area. So the picture maybe a little dark, please bear with me k?
Fruit Juice is so fresh and the crushed ice give an extra cooling effect, remedy for the heaty body after the a long “walk under the hot sun” !!
Orange Juice, Apple Juice and Watermelon Juice
My Melanzanne di Parmigianna, RP 60,000 is really flavoursome! The melted mozzarella cheese with savoury Greek Tomatoes sauce on top of the breaded juicy Beef Filler was a brilliant match!
Melanzanne di Parmigianna, big slab of juicy steak!
My parents order chicken chop (Chicken Steak ala Santa Fe, RP 50,000 & Chicken Gordon Blue, RP 55,000 ) but with different cooking style! The texture was alright but the chicken was rather bland! I love the gravy mushroom sauce though! Thomas order Filleto de Manzo, RP 60,000. A tenderloin with peppery and red wine sauce. Doesn’t give me a wow effect at all.
Clockwise: Chicken Steak ala Santa Fe, Fileto di Manzo& Chicken Gordon Blue

After Dinner, we head back for a shower before we hit the club! I was overjoy with everyone dancing Salsa and Tango in the club. Unbelievable, almost everyone could dance! I could only sit, drink and watch. I was so into it that I forgot to snap picture and even forget the name of the bar.
Yes Thomas was tired that night so thus the fierce look!
Walk across and jump onto my comfy bed!! Woke up feeling wonderful! The Fave Hotel’s selling point would definitely be the strategic location of which located right behind the row of Seminyak’s Night Club area. The hotel’s location got me all excited and worry at the same time. I am a bit concern that my parent may not have a good night sleep due to the loud music pumping in the club nearby. I hear no complain from my parent that morning!
The room was simple but very COMFY I would say! However the staff wasn’t too attentive to our request. The bathroom equipped with round shower head and we love the water pressure! Refreshing Shower!!!!
The Shower area separated by glass panel and the window actually can see through the room!
Loving the mineral water bottle. Similar to old time CocaCola glass bottle!
Well I’m satisfy with the bed and the room though it’s a bit small but it doesn’t bother me too much! Sadly the TV reception wasn’t too good! We basically watching snowy version of Too Fast Too Furious.
The bed, TV and simple rack!
The pool was a compact one and it’s right beside the Hotel’s restaurant. Too shy to swim in front of public eyes!
The breakfast was nothing too impressive! Just for the sake of filling up my tummy!
The breakfast more to Local Indonesian Cooking Style! The omelette is without cheese…
This is something special, the colour look like Mango right? But it is actually very sweet papaya!! LOL
Distance : 20 minutes from Denpasar, Bali International Airport
Stay here for their strategic location that gives you convenient to shop around Seminyak or Have a Drink at any Pub or Club nearby at night!

After breakfast we still have time before we head to Mount Batur. Shopping time it is! It was around 8.30 am and some shop still preparing and mostly are still close. Luckily by 9 am most shops are open for business! ^_^ There are many beach wear shops available like Roxy, Quick Silver, Rip Curl and many more. Apparently the product there are approximately 20% cheaper than in Malaysia. The best is the design there is 100% more trendy than the one in KL.
A handicraft shop. Very creative stuff!
Painting along the path for SALE!
Bought myself a new Roxy Sandals about RP 150,000
Ok readers I shall post more on Mount Batur tomorrow. For now is good night time!
